Collins buck

Dave Collins was hunting on public land, December 3, in East Hanover Township, Chester County, when his hunting pals pushed a monster buck to the edge of a cornfield near Collin's stand.
He downed the impressive trophy with a 20-gauge slug gun.
“I had no idea how big it really was,” said Collins, “until I got close to it, and then it was like,'Wow!'”
According to Henry Wooleyhand of PAMonsterbucks.com, Collin's 14-point buck measured an amazing 207 4/8, non-typical with massive paddle-like antlers.
The Collin's buck will possibly rank as the second largest buck ever taken in Chester County, and will likely rank among the biggest bucks ever taken in Pennsylvania.

Marburger buck

Todd Marburger of Boyertown, passed on nearly a dozen deer the morning of November 29, including a couple of nice bucks.
“I figured I was seeing deer, so I'd wait for good one,” said Marburger, who was hunting on leased land in Lycoming County.
Around 10 a.m, opportuntity came knocking, and Marburger harvested what may rank as Lycoming County's all-time biggest buck.
According to Henry Wooleyhand of PAMonsterBucks.com, who performed the unofficial, green-score measuring, Marburger's 12-point buck measured 189 2/8 typical and had a narrow rack with tines that reached to the sky.

Striper

An impressive striped bass captured this fall (electrofishing) from the Schuylkill River just below Fairmount Dam in Philadelphia (adjacent to water works and art museum area). Fish was 42.9 inches long. If you know anglers who live in Phila. or at least "say" that they like to fish, all I can say is that they are missing a great opportunity if they are not fishing the Schuylkill in this specific area. It is particularly good in spring, although, obviously, there are some fish worth hooking into in the fall as well.
